What a search result means
- Found on a list: the regulator has published that name or website as not authorised to offer those services in its country. Read the regulator's page before doing anything else.
- Not found: this only means it isn't on the lists we cover yet. It is not proof that a firm is licensed. Check the firm's licence number on the regulator's own register.
- Clone firms: fraudsters copy the names of licensed firms. Compare the website address and contact details with the regulator's register entry.
Three checks before you deposit
- Find the exact legal entity that will hold your account (it's in the client agreement, not the homepage).
- Look up that entity and its licence number on the regulator's own public register, and check the website address matches.
- Search the name and every web address you were given against regulator warning lists, here and on the regulator's site.

What does this broker check search?
It searches the French financial regulator's (AMF) blacklists in the forex, binary-option and crypto-derivative categories: websites and names the AMF says are not authorised to offer those services in France. Every entry links to the AMF's own source.
A firm isn't on the list. Does that mean it's licensed?
No. Not being listed doesn't prove a firm is safe or licensed. New unauthorised sites appear all the time and this list covers France's warnings only. Check the firm's licence on the regulator's own register (for example the FCA, ASIC or CySEC register).
A firm is on the list. What should I do?
Read the AMF's entry, don't send more money, and contact your bank. If you've already paid, report it to the police and the regulator. Each entry page lists official reporting routes.
How often is the data updated?
We re-import the AMF's open-data file regularly and show the AMF's own update date and our last import date on every page. See our methodology.
